    Subject: Indian killer stratigies

    I bought the Asian Dynasties yesterday (the first day I could find it) and loved it, mostley.  Unlike most players I prefer deathmatch just cause I like to jump right into a game and I'm just plain not good at Supremacy.  After playing the Indians a couple of times I immeadiatly found a killer combo for them that will very successfully fend off artillary and large masses of infantry.  Sowars and Gurkhas.  Gurkhas are killer against infantry and if you keep up a good economy you will be able to continueously purchase them.  If the enemy has artilary bring in sowars from behind.  If the enemy moves to a cavalry meat shield well the solution is simple as pie.  If you are on defence use Sepoys in melee cause they bonus against cav.  If you are on offence use Rajput cause they good against buildings as well as cavalry.  In the end I found the much antisipated elephants just unnessesary and expensive, kind of dissapointing.  This makes the Indians (in my mind) a defensive civ. that can strike with crippling blows late game.  This makes them perfect for regicide.

    well, as for elephants you would still need siege elephants as they are only indian siege unit (besides flail elephant). also, i think i've played against you online before
    What's the difference between a llama and an alpaca?
    -There are no infomercials on llamas

    by the way i am in no way obsessed with alpacas and/ or llamas

    Sowars are kinda crappy IMO.   You're basically just advocating (weak) Hussars + Skirmishers.

     I'd rather card up some Mahouts.

    Mahouts suck too lol. They need 50% more hp to balance their cost and pop. 1 Dopp can knock off 75% of a Mahouts hp, that isn't right.

     You suck online.. then why give tips on playing indians... the NPC players suck... i mean really suck.. i can beat 3 computer player on Expert in dm.. me and my friend can take 6 computer on expert... however can struggle with 2v2 Vs players... and elephants are extremly powerfull and not waist of reasorce, if you dont spam...just keep a few at the back of your infantary.

     i am player rating 36 Colonel at DM. online experience is alot different.

     i was also in the top 10 for DM on elorating.com

    Were not retreating...were just attacking in the other direction!
