    does it still work as effectively as it does against regular musketeers?

    ok thanks, it just seemed like there might be a problem for xbows since the HP is higher than a musketeer and the damage is 6 points higher than a janissary.

    I thought we were just talking micro, I'm pretty sure that xbows still have more range, which means you can still hit and run them.

    I was talking micro, but since the range difference is only 2 meters and the damage is so much more than jans or musks I thought maybe it was more of a challenge now seeing as though Ashigarus seem to have the stats of a vet musk. Musks still get a good amount of shots on xbows.

    Ashiguras have 4.5 speed, so you'll always get the first shot but they'll basically always geta  return shot.

     

    Very few people are playing anything except asian civs right now, so it's pretty pointless/hard to say how well they stack up in specific matchups vs euros or natives.

     4.5 speed, yeah, I forgot about that.

    It sounds like it isn't the same then...if you can't outrun their musks then the extra range xbows have doesn't matter much does it?
