Subject: There is not a best civ
I get sick of this question "im a noob whats the best civ to use?"  if there was one best civ there wouldnt be a choice of civs to pick from.  Any civ can beat any civ and any civ can lose to any civ.  Just try em all find one you like and practice.  Yes you will be beat in this game and yes you will get frustrated, but those who get frustrated and figure out what "not to do" next time will win games.  There are no easy ways to win in this game unless you just noob bash which i admit is fun.  A lot of people including myself devote a large amount of their free time playing this wonderful game, so dont be afraid to lose and dont be suprised when you win.

    parthenon:

what u just said is very very VERY true in supremecy,

however the civs r a little more lopsided in deathmatch

o and about that "any civ can beat any civ"

that is true, but certain civs counter certain civs

(this is talking about supremecy) like for example:

u would not rush a dutch opponent with jans if ur ottoman would u?

of course not! dutch get skirms in the colonial age

but u could rush them with germans because they get cav with every HC shipment

so it just goes to show-that each civ counters another and choosing the right civ to fight can up ur chances to win dramatically

a person that can play all the civs well will have a better win % than a person that can play one civ really well

there is nothing to fear but fear itself

Some Civ have they goodies :

For noob I advice the British or the spanish, its easyer because they have simple units but no handicap.

L33ts say they "w00t" with the Russkies (lot of units since the start, maybe good for rush ?), For me its the second civ behind the Turkish (With Free farmer its much good)
