I just felt that I should post a positive response to the players I have been facing lately in the game. I am presently trying to teach my friend how to play this game as  he has never had any of the AoE series before and so we have been finding matches with a low and a high ranked player in a bid to try to make them fair.

We have won some and lost some but what has been particulary great of late is that everyone has stuck to the rules that were agreed before the match and when they have started to lose they have not plug pulled or attempted to break any of the agreed rules.

Maybe the sneaky rule breakers are all banned or on pest lists now but I am quite happy and it makes playing a war fun now win or lose cause you know your not going to get cheated.

Awsome post, I agree. Maybe you and your friend and me and my friend could have a game, he just bought AoE III but has played AoE II. He cant get the game to work online at the moment(dunno why)

 Would love to play a  game that is fair and even all the way through it.

 Great job ESO on cleaning up the online games and getting rid of the cheaters.

Sure my online name is CityHunter_uK and my friend is Gnecko add me to friends and when we are online we can play.

you may need to get your friend to port forward to beable to play online as I had that problem if its the connecting to other ppl issue.
