i've been trying to watch some replays of people to get a little better grasp on this game, because frankly im slow.  like a rock.  walking.  but anyways, every replay i download winds up ending before the match is over...and i don't mean the "out of sync with game" stop, it just ends like that was all the replay was.  and when i check the discussion of the replay, everyone talks like they saw the whole thing.  any ideas on what is going on?  thanks in advance for any help

This happens with every replay?  Are you watching them using the same version of the game the replay was made in?

a few of them i'm sure, because i had to update to watch...didn't think that would make a difference, but hey, you guys know more than I

You should know that replays never declare who the winner was, so perhaps you're actually getting to the end of the game without realizing it.

that i can understand, except when i say abruptly ends, i mean like in the middle of a battle with no towns destroyed abrupt.  at first i thought that maybe some just left, but when i saw threads when they talk about the end...or when it happened over and over again, don't think its the case
