Subject: How can I get my own music on AoE?
Right, before this gets blocked because there are tons of other threads about this, Ive looked at most if not all of them and none of them really elaborates on what I need to do to get The Number of the Beast instead of Bubblechum... I know about the folders and stuff, but I need to know exactly what to do, without any uncertainty to change the music file, as I really dont want to compromise my computer and the back up and restore doesnt really work. Any help?

The most British-Dutch person here, or is it Dutch-British? Lets call it Butch. Yeah, so hi, Im Butch.

Turn off in game music, and then take the mp3 you want and replace one of the taunts with that mp3.  (name it taunt1 or whatever the taunts are called in the folder)  Then, in game, use the taunt, and it will play the new mp3.

Look in modding discussion either here or on age of empires III heaven, there are probably many topics to do with changing the in-game music there.

From what I can remember, you need to save the music as a .wav file with very specific properties, and paste it into the Sound folder with the same name as the in-game music.. not sure though [^o)] look in modding discussion.
