Subject: Error loading the PID Generator DLL
Hi, I having an issue with the game installation process, and I am receiving this message. I have looked through the boards and the net trying to find a solution, but am yet to find one, and I was hoping that I might find some help on this board. If anyone has any help for me, or a link to a site that would help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with that specific error message, but the only times I have seen an error message similar to it are with the use of non retail versions of the game.

    Some general installation suggestions:

    • Make sure your machine meets the game's min. system requirements and you video card is supported.
    • Do not overclock (cpu or video)
    • Make sure that your video card, sound card, and network card drivers, as well as router firmware are up to date. Visit you manufacturer's website for more information.
    • Install all the latest windows updates
    • If you have XP verify you have the Windows Installer 3.1 v2 service installed
    • Reboot your computer with a "Clean Boot", to disable any background applications
    • Browse to and empty your windows temp folder. You can find your temp folder by clicking start=> run, then type %temp%, click ok.
    • De-fragment your hard drive
    • Use a windows administrator level account when installing
    • Make sure you have all the windows updates.
