    As far as a list..

I've done a ton of reading between the two web sites..I do recall a post with a so called list..It's tough to remember where I saw this list..After reading your post..I searched again by using the search functions but came up empty..

What I've done for myself ( and still do) was open my scenerio editor..Go to the world tab and click on lighting ..Or.. Clicked on the light bulb icon at the top of the scenerio editor..I Checked out each one and took notes as to what it is..I compiled my own list..Then I experimented until I had a group of lightings I liked the most.. Or.. What I needed to enhance the situation I was creating..Each time I put together a new day/night trigger sequence I refer back to my list I've compiled..As with everything regarding this game..I have found it's a personal preference not somebody elses..All that you're spending is your time and it's well worth it.

As far as the fading and what to set..I have found that by leaving all things at their default settings works the best..As I was searching for you.. I found a thread at H.G..Scenerio design forum..where a guy made a mod that alters some effect between lightsets..I used a search word lightings and then lightsets..Maybe that can help you if interested.

    Regards!
