    and this is the best result i've ever gotten, usually it barely reaches 300kbps

     

    i seriously need a better connection(at least 5 times faster), too bad they are expensive(as everything computer-related) here

     But yours is like WTF I can go run a mile and come back and still hasent loaded.  LOLOL

    i know, it'd be faster if i sent letters to the sites aksing about their content than waiting them to load

    but as i said, prices here are abusive

    It's just ADSL. Surprised about download speed, though It has NEVER arrived to that speed, also since I'm connected via wireless, the thing doesn't go as fast..

    the reason you don't get that speed on downloads is because that number is in Kilobits/s and the download speed you get is in Kilobytes/s

    and one kilobyte = 8 kilobits

    so to get your actual download speed divide that number by 8

    that number in kilobits is only useful to know if you're really getting the connection you're paying for
