Ottoman deck and order for rush
Can you guys tell me a good deck for an ottman rush. Also i was wondering wats the best order to play the cards.
This is my way i play.
- i collect tc resources and the send exploerer to build a trade post.
- i put all my villies on food and the next villie i get i put on wood.i keep distributing free villies to each.
- i age up with 400 wood. i build my fb
- next i play the 4 villies card and put all on gold
- i keep putting the next few villies on gold
- i keep building houses till i have bout 150 pop.
- i constantly build janissaries
- i have 50 janissaries in 14 min.
i usually finish the game with that in the second age. if u can help me with this that would be kool.

An expert Ottoman player attacks at 5:30-7:00 with 10-15 Janissaries and Abus (if necessary), plus the 3 Hussars shipment.
I wouldn't call your "play" a rush.
More like a 10 minute treaty...
You may be able to prolong your life, but it's not like you can escape your inevitable death, is it?

14 min is not bad but 7-7:30 is better Off the bat (if you get 500 wood) build a trade post/ or two and the send all villagers to food. send either 300 to build a trade post and collect 50 more to get a house. Age up get the 400 wood (quarter master) and use it to get stage coach and a forward base send 5 janissaries and make 5 more. Set 2 trade posts to gold and the rest food (if you get more) and send first attack as normal around 7min. Then you can send silk road. This will keep your rush going after the first attack. Build more janissaries and after about 20 villagers on food send 5 to wood and build a mosque. Build walls so he cannot raid you. All the while build janissaries to attack him. If you are seeing lots of light infantry (crossbows, skirmishers) then build an artillery foundry and make abus guns. You can also set your janissaries to hand mode and attack like that. This strategy will wear them down and you will win because of the trade posts giving you massive amounts of resources. But whatever you do do not lose them because the ottoman economy sucks! So do not let the game drag out too long. Especially against powerhouses like the French and Dutch who will pone you late game!

anything for another ottoman, but I usually play as dutch/ french French - pones with skirmisher/ gendarme. Dutch - heavy cannon and ruyter can't be beat. They are also ok at rushes but it is hard to master a dutch rush. Cause you need early skirmishers and the banks are essential! The key is to age up in a good time so you have units to defend with.

All villagers go to food immediately, and stay there if you want a decent age time. While aging if your doing pure Jannisary, you should have 1-4 settlers on gold, 1-3 on wood (optional), and the rest on food You should not send 4 settlers second, instead go with 5 Jans, 3 Hussar, or Silk Road. Build houses as you need them, getting a bunch of wood and getting 150 pop is ridiculous, Attack right away with your first batch of Jans+Shipment if possible. Learn to Build an Artillery foundry or stable shortly after your barracks too :-)

:Since I'm not playing a English Version , and I can't find this word on dictionary . So anybody would tell me .....what's "ruyters "means?

Within 10 minutes I could get up 10 falconets, 20 vet skirmishers and a Fort with a Dutch Semi FF, which would beat 50 Janissaries In the 14 minutes u take, I could have 15 Field Guns and 30 Guard Skirmishers. Conclusion, ur rush needs to be faster than this. As soon as u have 10 Jannies, harass the opponents eco whilst u send more and some abus. Ive never played otto, but i assume thats a good idea from the games Ive played against them.
