age1-GREED:
in the begining new areas of africa,asia,europe,australia,america are ripe for building colonies.empires grab new areas and expand.
age2-WAR
new imperial needs give rise to compitition and war between empires and WW1 begins
age3-REVENGE
after WW1 treaty of paris is signed and national interests of germany,italy,ottoman etc are oppressed this leads to the feeling to take revenge and WW2 arises
age4-A NEW DAWN
during WW2 brave soldiers fight for freedom and justice .after the war ends,freedom struggle against empires takes place in different countries and new ideas like humanrights ,communism,secularism,democracy,coldwar etc arises.
age5-A NEW SHADOW
a new threat has come over mankind.now in the name of religion man is killing his brothers.terrorism has its terror casted over man.the hope lies in united-nations and the cooperation between all countries to stand against new challenges like terrorism,global warming,environmental pollution,poverty,energy-crisis and AIDS.now the game ends with a promise of a new world and new technologies of future which may lead to "age of empires 5"
