    Subject: Anything new?

    Hi all,

     I've been traveling for about the past month and have not been able to keep up with the recent AOE events/patches. Would someone mind filling me in since right after the 1st patch?

    Basically, Iros were boosted, Germans were boosted, Sioux were nerfed, Russians were nerfed with Sevastopol, Spanish were nerfed, the fire pit overall has been nerfed, Ports were boosted, Dutch were nerfed, Chinas Disciple rush was destroyed, thats all I can remember.

    Japan is most OP civ,

    India's 10/10 rush is OP,

    Germany is sightly OP with it's Uhlans and Xbow

    Ports are sightly UP, but not much

    Port, Spain and Dutch suck because they have difficulty countering Sepoy (initially strongest musk in game) and Ashigaru (musk faster than skirms/xbows) in colonial age. Germany does not quite have the same problem with free uhlan to take care of backup units. French is kind of in between, but then settler wagons and coureur are a little better than the average settler.

    India rocks and Japan not far behind.

    I don't think ports are that UP

    However, might sound ridiculous but I think cassadores are too expensive :S

    If their cost was reduced with like -10 both recources it would be better.

    No, remember the Cassador has a much higher Ranged Resist than other skirmishers, so its fair. Just has a bigger gap of advantage between hand and ranged units increased by its pathetic hand attack.

    that japanese anti-infantry cavarly, whose name I can't remember should be nerfed IMO. All my games against a japan player have fallen to this OP cavarly unit. Even my dragoons have a hard time killing them in fortress age, they have such high hitpoints.

    Not really, I think their HP is worse than a Hussars, but idk.

    Imo theyre fine, just send cav at them and ur cav will be more effective.
