    Subject: Best team mates for French NR games?

    I usually play French...   and I'm wondering what is the best combination in a team game?   I've had fairly good luck with British and Dutch, especially, but I wanted to know if I'm missing out on something.

    i dunno im usually doing 1v1 with french but maybe spanish? doubt it though

    Dutch are a good combo with them imo, the team infantry cards can be very helpful for French, whilst Dutch can get very fast training skirms in colonial thanks to team early skirms. Also, Dutch can support in fortress with ruyters and cannons whilst french go skirms and cuirs.

    Generally this combo's best for ffs as opposed to blatant rushes.

    dutch and portuguese. perhaps more pportuguese since dutch has too weak eco in NR games

    IMO go with Germans, they get everything french dont.

    french+russians Kill,french have instant infantry/cavalry so that makes the a hard challenge,the russians can use horse wagon artillry for4 his whole army and the french can use gendarmes,halbs,musks,and skirms.They would dominate together,oh yea and they can make like up to 7 forts with each other so they'd be a devastating pair.
