do you mean they aren't? both are on America, USA is on North America and Brazil on South America, but you don't need to cross the ocean to get from one to the other

You don't need to cross an ocean to get from Asia to Europe. I guess they're the same continent.
Ever heard of Eurasia? they were just divided because of cultural and economical differences, same as North, Central and South America. but OK, Maybe i wrote wrong there, maybe it's not the same continent, but on the same land mass... either way you don't need to cross the ocean
