    Subject: Soldiers against Musketeers
    There is some sort of soldier who ends up in the civilization "china" easily with the musketeers?[8o|]

    Do you use the word "pretentious" in a pretentious manner? The belief of "pretentious" being pretentious might itself be pretentious, but that would than further go to prove that the word "pretentious" is pretentious.

    China has no Musketeer type unit but they can do well against such a unit with their Skirmisher type units especially after Repelling Volley.

    Actually china does get musketeers, they get redcoats from the british consulate.  Also they are able to use Pisteleros, Fusiliers, and Highlanders from the Monestary if they are enabled for your map.

    1. China has 120 military pop, spain only has 90

    2. CKNs when FU have around 300 hp and 135 attack vs HI, FU unctioned musks only get around 70 damage.

    3. CKNs have more range and are therefore more microable

    4. If you age to imp with temple of heaven you can get a significantly better eco and still more millitary pop.

    Mantlets first are wood heavy units, and die fast from ranged inf..

    it's the sup forum here.

    and the CKN's range isn't much bigger than the musk's, making microing harder.

    microing with arqs is far easier

    Yes I know China can get Musketeers from Consulate however they are not a normaly trained unit for them and regarding the Pistelero and the Fusiliers and Highlanders they are not always going to be available every game.
