    Subject: "There was a connection problem.."

    Hi,
    When I try to login to ESO, it first says "dowloading update" but the downloading meter below didnt proceed at all.
    After 30 seconds, new error comes, and it says

    there was a connection problem. make sure you are connected to the internet and can access www.eso.com with your web browser.


    My internet is working fine. What to do? I can't really play the War Chiefs because of this, so please help me as soon as possible.

    cuz u lack an older patch, u need to download them in order.... or it does that.

    OK, Now i downloaded patch "1.xx to 1.12" and it still doesnt work. :// what to do?

    Also, even I downloaded the patch 1.1.2 said "Age of empires is now up to date", the game still claims I'm having the version 1.0 in the.

    you only need the latest patch.

    you can download it here on agecomm.

    1.12 for normal AOE3

    1.04 for TWC

    1.01a for TAD

     

    and make sure your firewall allows the game to connect to the internet.

    I had the same thing, you can manually download the patch from this link: http://www.agecommunity.com/gameUpdates_xp.aspx

    It worked for me, so good luck with it.
