and why would I be jealous, my comp is less than half as powerful as yours, but usues less than half of electricity, and heats up much less, but runs all I want, Photoshop, Flash, video editing, watching TV... I'm not much of a gamer, I only play AOE3, Medieval 2 and Oblivion, maybe some NFS too.

It's a quad core, it has 4 cores at 2.5Ghz each, and each core alone is faster than a 3.0 Pentium 4.

same goes to my E6420, but it's a dual core at 2.13

I don't see why anyone would get an Alienware computer to be honest. You can get the same stuff for SO much cheaper if you build it yourself. Anyways my comp is like

    2gigs of ddr3

e8500 wolfdale dual core 3.16 ghz (im going to OC once it's a POS)

    HD Visiontek Radeon 4850 hd

    700 watt power supply

    antec 900 case

    Teehee.

Only my GFX card is strong, everything else is standard.

My GFX is 9800 GTX. And I only play AOE 3, so its kind of a waste...

I don't see why anyone would get an Alienware computer to be honest. You can get the same stuff for SO much cheaper if you build it yourself.

Are you using "build it yourself" in the essence that you actually built the computer from transistors and capacitors, or that you simply shopped for suitable components online and pieced it together yourself?

Half of the people who think they can "build" a computer have such a bloated pride about that.... I could probably teach a monkey to piece a computer together, given the time and motivation to do so.

Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change. But pretty soon, everything's different.
