Yeah, using war doggies to support your other infantry in your rush. War doggies actually have pretty decent stats, so they're alot more useful then people think.

Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change. But pretty soon, everything's different.

you can't really do a "wardog rush" since you can only make 5 of them, but the 5 of them you do get are a very good deal.

They are a good deal comparitively since they have decent stats, and are very cots effective. You might just want to throw them in there.

It's just a pike rush wiht some war dogs in their to help take out anything that your opponent has to kill the pikes.

Don't play no rush. Play deathmatch. It skips the boring part.

i did a 2v2 the other day as spain, my ally was germans and were were facing a brit and a port, both of them went for longbows and pike/musket, so we pulled back from our initial rush after killing 2 of the 3 t.c.'s the port had got from his ff, my partener boomed to 3rd while i sat back in colonial till 19 minutes, by that time i had 70 crossbows, 14 hussar, my explorer who had 27 range damage with 5 wardogs(un-upgraded) with 10 missionaries and unction card, by the time i upgraded my bows and hussars my bows had 31 range attack, my hussars had 57attack, and to my surprise my lil wardogs had 37 attack, needless to say both the brit and port were totally outmassed and outclassed by a far more cheaper army with alot more damage, what i wanted to know after that game was  if my wardogs and explorer have that much damage without the explorer card then imagaine what they would be like with it, for just 75 food apiece i had a unit with 120 health and 37 damage that is quick enough to help close in on longbows and cheap enough that my explorer could constanly rebuild them in quick sesession

Yes, 10 missionaries with unction is a 40% boost to attack (I think it's around that) per missionary.
