    Subject: I don't see many people playing fan patch?
    I was just wondering whether it was just me being online at a bad time, or if people actually play the fan patch? cause every single game i see is CRC mismatch, and there seems to be loads more online players on vanilla than TAD.

    People with the FP usually also have TWC, so that's the problem.

    And most people without FP, also have TWC, so if you get it, there will be many more games to join.


    Think Vista's Aero is nice? So you haven't seem Linux's Compiz yet.

    wut is CRC?  but if u dont have TWC then u shud play vanilla b/c a lot of people still play with natives civs even though they have TAD.  its like still playing euro countries in TWC

    Its hard enough to get a game as it is. Mostly players higher than lieutant play with it and they are not too many of those.

    A CRC Mismatch occurs when your game is different from another players (e.g. using a cracked version, different patches).
