    Subject: Not loading right...

When I start up the game, it shows a little video. I hit the space bar to skip and then it turns to a loading screen where a coin is spinning. After that, it goes to a screen where it looks like green people walking around some city, but no options show up. Should I reinstall? Also, is this video card good enough:

     Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

I think that is what I have. I cannot find the info on my computer, but I have a Dell inspiron 1420 laptop.

Please help. This game looks amazing.

    What it looks like:

First of all try running the game in full-screen and not windowed mode.

You can also try updating your graphics driver. Take a look at Intel's site to do so.

Think Vista's Aero is nice? So you haven't seem Linux's Compiz yet.

    Still does the same thing.

How would I do that? I cannot see any options button.

Ok I will do that now. Oh, btw, I have Vista...

So I checked online for reviews and it says my graphics card is "NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS"...How do i know for sure?

I'm not sure on Vista, but try the following:

-Right click your desktop on some blank space

-Click Properties and go to the Configuration tab

-There you'll see Something like Video: Plug&Play monitor on ...

At least it's like this on XP, I shouldn't be much different on Vista.

If it's the Geforce, go to nvidia's site, if it's the Intel, go to Intel's site.

And the options menu he said is Help and Toots > Options > Graphic Options, I think

Go to Start then Run and type in "Dxdiag" (without the quotation marks) and press Enter. This utility will give you all sorts of information about your system. It also will help you assess whether or not everything is running properly.

Update all your dirvers. Also go to Microsoft.com and search for "DirectX" and update it.

If you are on a laptop make sure that your system is running in gaming mode, which prevents it from slowing things down to conserve power. This means that you will probably have to run it on AC.

It says this is my graphics card name:

Card name: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

So I got to intel's site and download: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/license_agr.aspx?url=/17407/a08/winvista_15124.exe&ProductID=2800&agr=Y&sType=&PrdMap=&DwnldId=17407&strOSs=All&OSFullName=All+Operating+Systems&lang=eng

But when I open it it says my system cannot use this driver...WTF!?!?!?

Is there another way to update your drivers? I thought there was, but I'm not sure how to on Vista. Also, I have Direct x10.

UPDATE: I fixed it. For future reference for those who may have this problem, all I did was go to mygames>AoE3>user and deleted the new user file. This allowed me to open the game and have an options menu (I still have the green and white look on the screen for everything except the menus bar). Then I went into help and tools and turned everything on the lowest. Thank you all who helped.

Go to Windows Update and chose the Custom option. When the search concludes, look under Hardware Updates for any new video drivers.
