    Subject: unresposive players

Lately it happens a lot that in the middle of a game there is an unresponsive player so that I have to drop him or leave the game.

Is this a general problem of ESO ? because before it did happen that much.

Pretty so its no fault of ESO, its just people plug pulling, having power cuts, cant be bothered to finish the game, real life issues etc

what was said above are possiblilities, but lets not go to conclusions so fast. i hate when people come to conclusions like that, report you, and then you have no say in defense.

     it happened to me once,

my computer spazzed and turned off on me, i rebooted and i went back online and i was attacked by the other team for drop hacking. yelling "im reporting you" and "your a drop hacking, you cheater"

its not so fun to be on the recieving end.

being unresponsive has nothing to do with droptricking/bridging.

you just kick the person out and there you go, win for you.

if he bridges(and that's the big deal), then you have to be fast, kick him out immediately and then go to eso, your game will update(1 more played game) if you receive pr, then it's all fine. if you don't receive pr and checked him and see that he indeed lost pr, then he did that bridging which is what people say is droptricking. then just report him (best with recorded games, small text explaining things, screenshots etc., don't forget product id) and there you go.

funny how so many people can't distinguish between these two blatantly differences, which indeed "look" the same

ever heard of power shut-offs , software/hardware problems... not everyone falling out is cheating...

Oh, Windows automatic updates and stuff like that makes it count off too.. (you cant turn it off) and computer simply restarts)... the times I felt out of the game, I always got points reducted or nothing at all, like the game wasn't played at all, so I don't see how it can be cheating actually...

Hopefully the recent server maintenance has lessened the incidence of this, but it's been my experience, in over 1000 treaty games, that the longer you play the more likely it is for someone to drop out. This is one reason most random treaty team players have win percentages around 50%.

The more games you play the more closer to 50% you get, if you play people that are at the same skill as you.

It happens, and just because it does, do not label the person dropping as a cheater. I have, on more than on occasion, been dropped from a game because at midnight Windows decides to update. Instead of going to the desktop where the "5 minutes until restart" screen pops up, it just does it on its own. Rather frustrating in close matches. Don't even get me started on anti-virus software....

What ticks me off is seeing someone drop, you getting the win screen, but lose PR when you check the stats.

don't let it count down, kick him out immediately

true, that is why everybody should be happy, you just get a win because your opponents connectivity failed

that, my friend, is droptricking. if you have done evreything right then you shouldn't lose any pr at all if somebody tries to do that and you should always get the win. i did
