Subject: The Second Base Souix Surprise (SBSS)

The Second Base Souix Surprise is all about flexibility. I've spent the last week trying this out and I find it has about a 70% of working after 24 games.

    3 Necessary Cards

-Card that lets you make scouts

    -2 War huts

    -15 bison

    Placement

This is most easily performed on Great Plains.

If you start farther north than the trade route than head north to make your 2nd base.

If you start near the south go south for your 2nd base.

    Flexible B.O.

This is a very flexible BO to let you chose how you want this to work.

    Start off.

Send 2 vills to herd. 1 vill herds for your tc, the other herds for your 2nd base which will be either up north or down south. For this lets say down south.

Send 1 more vil to food. Rest to wood.

All vills out of tc go to food.

    Send scout card.

When you have 15 vills move 2 to wood.

Keep producing vills until about 20

When you have about 20 advance to the 2nd age with fast age up. During age up move everything/everyone to the location of your 2nd base.

After advancing build 3 scouts. Put them so you can see when their army comes you will know.

Ship 2 war hut. Create your 2nd base.

Ship 15 bison. Use as food.

    Create ALL war clubs.

When move your army to the edge of the forest. Keep producing them. Do not get seen.

When you see his army move for your town center wait until he starts seiging it then attack his base with all youve got. Go for open villagers than barracks. Start seiging his TC. No matter what keep producing soldiers. Try to have a small group in between his town and his army to stall him.

If pulled off correctly you should have killed his tc while yours is still up. Start producing villagers. Do not kill his houses if he is british. Avoid his army until you know you can win.

Now build a corral and use your scouts to find out where his villagers are hunting. Create 5 axe riders and hunt down his villagers.

From here on you should know what to do.

Upon for attack by all the good players in this dump. But Aloysius is not allowed to speak in this thread. Loooove you.

nothing against you and this strat but this is why i hate sioux so much, the civ revoloves around playing the game like a girl, raiding and attacking from the side and running away from their army as you only attack villagers

this strat would never work IMO

    Whats ur pr ?

this is a retarted strat. even if you do take their tc, you wont get all thier vills, and then they will find your base , and then its muskets or jans, or any number of moderate to op units vs your WAR CLUBS!?!?!? dude if you use war clubs as soiux, only use them to protect your cetans, or for a suicide rush if you think their gonna ff, or maybe a little siege once your already in their town, and have won the main fight. You say that you would take down their tc b4 they take yours. thats fine but.... they will take yours down like 10 seconds later... and then they find your base and kill you, while your warclubs run around pointlessly cause your know they cant fight his musket/xbow pike/ashi ect. so here you are, 5 vills, no pop, and 30 warclubs running around. FAIL. this would only work on a sargeant lvl at the most, for only a noob player would run back to his town when warclubs are sieging his tc, for he knows it will be down b4 he gets there anyway. i highly recommend no one do this strat, for it is stupid, and will only work against stupid people

why do some people have to be so gay?

I wonder what any player will say when he finds all WC/AR?

    Muskets!

Depending on OPness ofc, ashis or brit or sepoy are the best Big Smile

mmmm i have my doubts about this strat even though i have pulled something off similar in my past. its just that it is very risky to pull this off because undoubtedly both teams will lose their TC's, so it ain't going to put you in a benefical position. i guess though if you hold is explorer 'hostage' they can't rebuild, but your villagers can make TC's :D

your whole plan can be undermined if they scout out your fb or start raiding.

this strat i can really honestly see working against ottomons. ill try it one day though. :D

ohhh and the scout card i reckon is useless. go more for 3 vils. you can do the scouting simply with the creatures you get from treasures (conversion thingy) or even just a single cetan does the job.

    Everyone knows my pr.

And I used this against a 1st leuit and he fell for it. I managed to get all his villagers with my axe riders and he just resigned because he had no base and only a little military.

You dont have to I just found this more fun than the same strat over and over again. You wanna here another dumb strat?

Its a good idea, but you loose a lot of resources while moving your villagers to the "2nd base" and you are playing all or nothing.

I have played a lot of supremacy games in my life time. And I have done random strats a lot to keep myself sane. It gives me diversity to try random strats that are all or nothing. Or probably not work. And yes I did lie about the 70% thing no duh.

All in all, just FF with sioux, don't try any dumb rushes. Just get to age three and train rifle riders.
