Hi, when I join games I often get asked if I have another ESO account. (especially when I play with good players) Lieutenants++

 

i thought your eso account was locked to your serial key and that you can only have one account pr. serialkey.? Am i mistaken? and is it concidered cheating to have more than just one account pr serialkey if thats possible?

You can create as many accounts as you want -- one per purchased copy of the game.

How can I create another account? 

Each Age3 (Vanilla) cd-key can be used to create one account.

If you have already created an account, you will need to purchase a new, unused cd-key in order to do so.

A little bit more background on this is if you have a very high Win %, people think you may be what is sometimes called a 'Smurf'. A 'Smurf' is someone good who makes a second account (by buying a second copy of the game) and uses the starting conscript rank and plays some people with relatively high ranks -- Master Sergs, Lieutenants, etc. and beats them, because they were, say, a Captain on their old account. This inflates the rank on the new account even higher than the original.

Smurf accounts are generally frowned upon.

Anyway, after installing all the cds, I created my eso account "LinnetRose" and now I also want to create an account for my brother... but it doesn't let me do this. What should I do then?

You will need to purchase an additional copy of Age 3 to create a 2nd account, and each of the expansion packs if you want to play with your brother on the expansions.
