    Subject: Is the aoe2 server still running, if so how do you get to it?

    Ive been wanting to play aoe2 online but dont know how to get it to play with msn. ive tried it a few different times over a long period of time same thing cant find it with the game. How do you get to it if it is still running? aoe3 i can get the game to connect to but not aoe2. any ideas?

    ty ill look at this now & agian if there is a way

    The MSN Zone was shut down years ago :(

    You can use GameRanger to play online though.

    Yes. GameRanger has been a moderately good and easy experience.

    nice sounds easy to use & operate that is a good sign that might just be what i need. that should be good since i never tried gameranger but have seen it on the forums pages here & there.

    Man the MSN Zone, just nostalgia'd. 6/19/06. Gone but not forgotten.

     I find it funny if you google MSN Zone the age II lobby is like the fifth link to this day.

    GameRanger and Voobly still offer gameplay for AoE2 and you can easily find a game

    Yeah but I'm terrible now and my friend that got me into the game doesn't play anymore. We used to do 2v2's all day, but going back just wouldn't be the same. That and I think everyone was on something a lot worse than GR and Voobly for a while, I forget the name. Gamespy might've hosted for a bit too...
