Greetings fellow aoe3 lovers, So i was playing this 3v3 game and my team was winning easy. Suddenly a player on the other team (id :playforfunscania) showed up to be unresponsive and as soon as the timer reached 55 it disappeared and came back after 2 secs, reset, starting at 60 again.this cycle kept repeating itself although the timer just reached 59 henceforth. the player could still speak to the rest of us somehow and was boasting about how we cannot win from here and how his/her team is gonna win. I don't understand how this is possible for a couple of reasons : 1. if someone is unresponsive(ie. has left the game or is lagging) how can they still speak to the rest of the players? 2.once the timer has started how does the player keep resetting it? this as you can guess is highly annoying when all your time is wasted because of a cheater.This had happened before too so i decided to take a stand and not quit straightaway. i just kept waiting and waiting and after about 3 hrs suddenly the timer stopped resetting and actually started timing down i and the others on my team all clicked on drop and except 1 person on their team all had drop highlighted. But as soon as it reached 1 it got stuck and was on 1 for another few hours. Now i did some searching and found out that the getting stuck on 1 bit was called a drop hack but found no thread which could explain the annoying resetting of the timer again and again. could anyone tell me how a player does this(resetting cycle) and the drop hack and how can u stop it from happening?
