So many problems with this bo/boom in general. You need 20 vills on wood for sawmills to be as good as colbertism, not even counting the fact that you need more food than wood. There is simply no pre 40 space for land grab with dutch, especially since the best no trade booms with them don't use plants until late game. Plus I can see several execution mistakes early in the vid, such as you wait until all the crates are gathered to retask vills, and you shoot the herd away from your tc. That results in walking 7 vills quite a ways later on when you're too low on food. Plus you don't start herding in other hunts at all, which slows you down as you go into colonial.

I normally don't flame, and I don't really care about the previous flame wars you've had here, but bragging about a boom where I can easily see mistakes costing you 200+ points is silly.

Im too old to be bothered by your comments. I posted the games because they were requested. If you cant take it, then you dont have to comment. LOL

take the criticism to heart.  if you truly arent herding correctly thats a problem.  if you arent maximizing vil second efficiency thats a problem.   they are easy to do, but most ppl dont do them.  you cant be a good boomer without them though  :S

you can spend hours of effort trying to eak an extra 30-50 points out of your boom by trying to discover a slightly better BO, when you could have gotten an extra 200 points just buy using vil seconds efficiently (herding, no overgathering, limited walking...)

so dont take it as flame.  its a simple thing that you can fix immediately 

havent watched the rec but i prolly will since i watched an old one of yours i will want to see the changes :D

PS.  and tho no boom will be perfect, the only reason it shouldnt be is cuz map resources.  there's no reason you shouldnt be perfect in your BO and mechanics.  none at all.

booms no perfect because ES thought random factors in the game are funny. 

let a broodwar player play the boom through on the same map for a week or 2 and he'll give you a perfect boom. 

Maybe you can't perfect booms, but you can perfect the art of booming with managing distributions and vill seconds perfectly. ect. There is a difference.
