I thought that when I got to level 25, things would be different. Not like what they were at level 20.

I just played a 1v1 against a level 28 captain. He played germans, i played ottomans. I had my whole army out, he had nothing out. Just before the treaty ended, he  spammed 50 dopplesoldner and about half went to my base. the others went to the native posts and destroyed them before i could build them and get the upgrade. before I could get my infantry there he was in (cannons would be too slow) he was in my base and I couldn't make any units super fast because I didn't have the native upgrade.

Is this really how level 28s play or am I missing something.

He spammed 150 dopples in total.

He then told me that germans are for running !  

What are you mean't to do against these people ?  I just want to play the game with face to face fighting. :( 

I hate this kind of players too. Normally I rage quit and pest them, can't understand how someone  build up 40 minuts for making 1 box, must be really reeally boring.

German are for running? Very good joke. Germans + natives can beat everything in face to face, and a normal lvl 28 player wouldn't play like that dumbass.

There we have that topic again rank didn't tell you about the opponents skill.

The funny thing is that he didn't make a single skirmisher or cannon of any sort xD 

It true rank or win percentage doesn't tell you anything about the player, they could just play against privates and get up to lieutenant colonel, however I do check most people I play out on The aoe3 elo ladders before I play them. Problem is this guy I played had a pretty average game history for his rank, I would never of guess that he would spam and run. I also told him that german+nats can beat almost any civ face to face.

AND We should play more Magnom xD

Runners are out there, but it sounds like this was some extreme running. Not too often do you see that. Of course there are people who will try to run around while battling someone heads up like bode does. Or that time Storm delete many vills and ran around vs me when I was Spain in a 1vs1 just so that he would win LOL.

this hapened to me long time ago.... and now i know.

If somebody u dont know, playing german, church card and pr 25 +... be sure he will run like hell. So make lots of walls, and let some abus to defend.

This is also very comon on Decan .... where some cheaters didnt respect hm and make ships. But, as i know what they gona do, i started the game ready for them.

edit: lol   i know fran, he is portuguese and always run with german. Take care.

Back before they nerffed the Gendarme population, and before most of us really knew the in's and outs of the game, clans would go three French and then overwhelm the players on the other team one at a time with 200 Gendarmes. Most of these guys were "colonels."

When you hear of this type of RANT, its because the player cant play 1v1 as good as they think and no way in hell be able to play sup games. Sup game is classic hit, run, move. Out smart the opponent with tactics.

So it appears youd rather spam units head on and appear you have a clue.

1v1 aint your game mode then. It takes more talent and rts ability to play 1v1. No one is going to save you like team games.

Really? A lower rank to me,someone who isn't active and doesn't play sup on his main account, is going to come in here and assume i've done everything wrong? You assume that I didn't look at his deck, you assume I didn't scout his base, you assume I can't play sup and you assume I'm bad at 1v1. Actually I did/can do all of those things, and I don't like the fact that you think your seamless and perfect and think you have the right to criticize everyone else when you don't even know the circumstances. I'd love to play sup with you and love to 1v1 you sometime, and watch you, do absolutely everything right.

We all know BuZz_D is the biggest pro arround here. 

 The funny thing is that I have never saw him online in a hihg lvl game or on a hihglvl replay, so sad :(      

 Oli you know BuZz is the flamewar king would be senceless to start a flamewar against him :)
Just ignore his pro comments and the world is fine again.
