I have very recently experienced what we call an account theft. I tried first logging into my account with my ordinary password, but that did not work. Then I tried the password hint and that did not work either. After that, I was determined to check for myself. I logged onto a friends account to check and lo and behold, my avatar was changed (from a Ruyter to a Musketeer) and many of my homecities were deleted (lvl 108 Portugal, lvl 100 Britain, lvl 100 Paris, lvl 83 Berlin, lvl 100 St. Petersburg, lvl 68 Amsterdam, lvl 100 Ottoman, lvl Spain). Also, the person had made some new homecities, and I never name my homecities like "RS" or stuff like that.

You should never be logging into the game with other people's accounts (including your friends).  Account sharing is not permitted, and may result in account bans themselves.

relax men... You know you would do the same if you weren't the mod :-)

send an email to age3support@microsoft.com with your username and product ID and what happened. I think that should do the trick and then Ryz0n will help you recover it in 2-3 bussiness days.

maybe try that, or just buy vanilla off steam for a few dollars/type of currency. use your old 2 expansion disc's and product keys to install Asian dynasties and war chiefs and then you will have a new smurf account. If you played the game for that long I suggest you buy another copy, if you can't get your old one back. 

If my account got hacked/stolen I would want it back too, but if the guy is planning to buy another account, don't waste money on all three games. You can just install the original expansions on your new account. No problems will occur. I tried it before, and I know people with smurf accounts that have done the same thing.

And yeah if you've played the game since the release date pretty much, and the administrator on this forum has authority to get stolen accounts back to the person of belonging (which he seems like he does), then there shouldn't be an issue.
