    Subject: Unable to create ESO account
    I just bought age of empires 3 the complete collection a few days ago from the gamestop downloadable games app. I have been trying to make an online account and every time i get finished putting in the information it says unable to create account. I have tried multiple different account names and passwords and it still says the same thing. Can anyone help me?

    I have the same exact problom. it just says unable to create account. I got the game from gamestop as well. I think theres something wrong with gamestop......[^o)]

    There could be a problem with he Gamestop download. However, there also may be a problem with installation.

    Read through the Install Procedures. Of course, not all of it will apply to a downloaded game but the sections on preparing your system, turning off your anti-virus so that it doesn't interfere with the Registry, setting Administrator privileges and setting Compatibility do.

    You might try downloading the patches from agecommunity and manually patching the game too; I don't know if the new Downloads contain all the patches.

    The gamestop build works fine, but there are a few catches that could be tripping you up. 

     

    After installing via gamestop, make sure to run the core Age of Empires 3 game first (not the expansions).  It will require you to input the CD key provided to you in your impulse client.

     

    At this point you should not get a "failed to create account" error message.

     

    If you are receiving a different error message (such as error 101), shoot me an email at age3support@microsoft.com with the PID to your copy of the game.  The PID can be found in the game by going to Options - help and tools -- "About".  It'll be on the bottom of the screen.

    I tried that. I did it on the core game but it still says failed to create account.    :{

    Can you try going to start --> all programs --> Microsoft Games Studio --> Age of Empires 3 Complete --> right click on Age of Empires 3 and select "Run as Administrator"

     

    Did you ever enter the CD key when you installed the game?

    You'll need to have the administrator permissions to install the game correctly.

    Actually I recently played with Augustiello. He did not OOS or droptrick and I experience no lag. I guess he doesn't cheat anymore,

    The Impulse and Steam versions are actually better than retail due to how it sets up system settings.

     

    Unfortunately, you'll need to be an administrator in order to install the game properly.  If you're not an admin on your system, you'll want to get the help of an administrator in order to install the game.

    When I try to make ESO account it's giving me error 100(CD Key is bad), what I should do about this?

     P.S.I have the game from Filelist
