You know what me and any solid general will tell you about balance on this game? 

Its pretty simple;  The creators/programmers spent allot of time on the original version and subsequent patches to ENSURE that the civs are balanced. 

I can’t stand people whining about THIS or THAT is OP, etc. 

1-Learn your OWN civ’s build order properly. 

2-Learn some map control and some eco 3-Learn what counters what and some micro and with ANY civ you can make very senior ranks. 

I don’t mind hearing generals or colonels discuss the subtle differences between civs however blanket statements of Dutch(for example) are OP are incorrect and just blatant whining due to lack of control of YOUR own units.  Use your civ properly!!

Tip of the week: if you called minute men too early or opponent has made a full retreat, cancel them – save them and the resources for later!!
