    Subject: civ specializing

    i feel like everyone has a go to civ and it makes me feel like the jack of all trades but master of none.

    i want to get really good with a top tier civ besides ports since they cant push well at all. ive played germans a lot and do well but im definitely no master. i know the basics of the brit boom but my record is like 2437.

    i dont use spain that much but theyre easy to use. i just suck with iro.

    record like 2200. i really want to get great with brits since by the way the brit players talk about themif ur good at cowing u could literally probably just continually spam musks and win. anyone willing to teach me good brit boom?

    i dont learn well from recs..and i have watched storms VOD part 2 but part 1 is unavailabe :( storm if u read this could u just take the footage and reupload it?

    and on a completely different note, if ur playing ports and ur at the enemies wall, how do u just push inside? as ports i have literally sat at someones walls for at least 10min before and i cant just push inside. not on andes that match though cuz most ppl at my lvl only play deccan :( but i would prefer booms to be made for andes since if a boom on andes can work on deccan but a deccan boom cant work nearly as well on andes.

    oh and the one civ that i feel i have really kinda mastered is sioux. but also at my level theres usually like 4 ports a game so i never use them much anymore and no one trusts sioux players =/ and then finally when im allowed to play as them my team sucks so i end up having like a 8426948267429:1 K/D but still lose since my team doesnt know how to make me just 2 mortsand not send their whole army to me

    The main problem you have is probably your pushing with the wrong units. Ports are the most OP civ and easily break open the walls. The main problem I have noticed people trying to do is they think "YAY I got the walls open , now he will magically resign" but nooo people do not do that. You must force them to resign! 

    Here is the basic strategy for making opening walls with Ports. Milky__ has already written a strategy pretty much exactly like this, but I can't find the link Crying so I am just writting this all down from memory.

    Here you go,

    Once you open the walls up, you now longer a need for mortars, so just delete them theywasting valuable population space that could be used far more effectively by making Organ Guns or Petards.

    Next---> Delete 49 villagers.

    Next---> Make 20 Organ Guns, and 60 muskets. Enter the opening of the wall and blast whatever comes your way! Organ Guns are OP and 20 OP organs is extremely OP, they will cut down everything! Move fwd fast and hard! Make sure you take out his Artillary station as you don't want a butt-load of culvs coming out.

    Next---> stop and camp for one moment with your army, with the extra 10 population space build 10 petards and open the eco walls with 4 petards (the amount needed to take out a wall) with the other 6 CHARGE the factories!

    Next---> press enter and type " *Taunt 16 " Then directly after that press enter once again and type " * Taunt 19 " While you do this continue blasting the buildings and soldiers down with your 20 organs with the 60 muskets protecting them and the continue spamming 10 petards leveling everything in his base!

    That is how you finish the game after opening your enemies walls.

    If your against Ports just switch the mustets out for 30 dragoons which easily destroy French horses, because the musk is in hand-to-hand combat fighting the horse and the 20 organ guns are behind just shreding the Grendermes. France really has no chance against Ports.

    Also SInce your army is so big and since its OP, you won't have to replace the men as fast so actually you will be fine with 49 villagers running your economy

    if ur having trouble with pushing against wall, then make some musket go into melee to block his units from exiting wall and always have at least 2 culverins attacking art. This is where your mortars come in. Aim for military buildings first then come the walls(always stables 1st cav trains faster for some civs) next, bring the muskets out and make a few organs because enemy will be frantic and send in some other units to stop the mortars also, try to wall during fighting as you are into his wall a bit, wall your opponent's base in so you cant get flanked.

    lol :) but seriously milky i know u hate it but could u pretty please do a rough write up of a brit boom? not like when to eat each cow and such just early distributions when to get market ups how many vills to age with and such.

    it seems like when he stopped playing he started coming on the forums way less so i will if he gets on sometime but i think i asked him around a month ago for either that or a iro boom(i think it was a brit) and he said no
