    very skilled player stuck on conscript.. you don't see that every day.

    Losing your first 5 games usually results in not gaining rank. You'll have to win a few to see any progress in rank.

    While it does not show, ranks can go below zero.  It is possible you have a negative PR and will need a few wins to get back and start climbing.

    Also, moving thread to the correct forum because you didn't read before posting.

    ESO only shows negative PR as zero but the Simple ELO ladders report your actual PR. If this is you, you have a substantial negative PR and must win several games before you even get back to zero.

    Play 1vs1 until you get your rank up - there are always people willing to play against conscripts 1vs1.

     Clearly, you need to learn some basics such as continually making villagers. You can't do well if you stay below 20 villagers in a 27 minute game.

    Actually if your playing standard you don't want to make villagers because they are not cost effective only Sioux and Iroquois villagers are (Sioux villagers have 50+ siege)

    Don't spend the 100 food for a villager when you could use that more effectively and make a musket only have to gather 25 gold.

     Or if you're terrible at making villagers just play Otto.  Free villagers are pretty cost effective, right?

    Yes, plus the Fast Colonial Grenadiers strategy that Ottoman can do so effectively make them extremely OP

    I went from a level 0 conscript on vanillia to a corpral in one single game. I used one of willie's own.
