Thranduil81:No, the huss would win easily. Remember the coyotes cost wood, which is higher cost in vill seconds (their wood cards change this some in treaty, but you're still behind relative to most civs who are getting coin).

Jerom:I think India is the only civ that gets free market upgrades. They get the first and second wood chopping upgrade iirc correctly. You don't need to build a market to have these upgrades activated.
Aztec get the first upgrade I think, But nice to know you dont need market to access it

1. What civs get what free market upgrades?
2. Do you need to build a market for them to become active or are they applied from the start?

i agree with that. just look at it like this: coyotes lose to all other cav. rods dont lose to all other heavy infantry
Im not so sure, Coyotes are cheap as and only take 1 pop ...

NightBlade54:i'd say coyote runner aztecs have some insane hand to hand combat.
I may be wrong but I think Coyote runners are classed as Cav.
As Rods get a Multiplier against cav, Rods should beat coyotes quite easily.
If you mean which is the better overall unit, IMO, Stealthed Coyotes are so cool
