That is a by design decision, I believe Wacko has discussed this is the balance forum.
Sorry your game didn't count, but we needed to bring the servers down in order to bring the patch online.

Patch 1.01a was released this morning to fix the exploit with the French cheaper church card. We're currently updating our patch download pages with the standalone patch file.

We just patched TAD and you're telling us we don't support or care about AOE III anymore? Pretty silly.

The answer is...maybe! The Dakotas map is going through the QA testing process to find possibly bugs etc, the same process our other random maps go through. When it passes those tests we will release it, but that may or may not be in time to get it into this coming patch.

Make a new folder on your desktop and copy everything from the discs into that folder, then run Setup.exe from that folder.
That should let you install everything.

If you log on to ESO with TAD and associate your old ''unwanted'' account, it will bind that copy of TAD to your old ESO account.
The only way to get a new ESO name is to buy AOE3 vanilla and go from there.
