Regarding Fort Wars - just so you know you don't need to reinstall again.
Not sure what you can do at the moment w/ your install prob though.

The triggers are exactly the same - literally. ES copy-pasted the trigger code from AOM to AOE3. Unfortunately, that is why many conditions and effects do not work. They have not been adapted to work for AOE3 and those that do just happen to work by chance.

I'm wondering if an ES member can pin this as this issue appears to continuously come up even after we long addressed it over a year ago.

The real Fort Wars maps do not cause Out of Sync (they in fact fix OOS as a response to these accusations).
A hacked/edited version of FW instead causes the OOS. If you play FW on AOE3 regular, only play 2.3; on Warchiefs, only play 3.2

Someone made a hacked version of Fort Wars that does this.
Download the real Fort Wars: www.pftq.com/fortwars/ and just load it up once. It'll fix your sync errors.
