Great Plains is the worst map ever conceived....next to Sonora, Orinoco, and Indochina.
I vote the most underrated/underused map as Rockies or Pampas or Northwest Territory

Dont have keshiks on the frontlines. Make the ming army and shield them with qiangs. Cavalry can't do anything to that combo unless they are lancers really. Just upgrade like mad.

Keshiks aren't worthless at all! I use them all the time, you just gotta micro really well. And summer palace is better than the confucian academy by far. Mainly because of the 400 food bonus in colonial + you get more troops.

Just play the game in Spanish...It's a very easy language and maybe you'll learn something :)And besides, not much knowledge of any language is needed to play the game, the units speak in foreign languages anyways, and you can ID units by their avatars and their statistics which are numbers, not words. And Spanish is close to English anyways. If ...

Unctioned rods will easily kill Mahouts. You don't even need dragoons. And fully upgraded (via cards) lancers will wipe out ANY infantry they have. As for the Howdahs just use rods as well. No artillery needed. Oh and Spanish dragoons are the best in the game for the person who said they were the worst. Unction makes Spain OPed.

Umm flying crows absolutely suck. They have ***** damage. And don't play China because if you get past the colonial age your units will be too weak to compete with the other civs.

Many people join games and then immediately quit when they see a certain civilization. And people also just choose civilization counters before the game starts.
