Spanish were probably the best civ in aoe2, and are the best civ in aoe3 vanilla. I feel the game is a little bias (racist?) towards Spanish

The game works fine on millions of computers worldwide.
Have you tried a plain Windows XP install with nothing else extra downloaded? No codec packs or anything.

Are you using the same codec pack on all the machines? Perhaps the pack is installing or missing a codec which Age3 needs to play background music.

The cd-keys are in Microsoft's hands at the moment.
but are they *actually* in Microsofts hands? One must wonder considering the time its taken whether or not someone has lost them!

There is nothing an individual user can do at this point.
We cannot take cd-keys and enter them manually, we have to get them from Microsoft. We are currently waiting on them for the cd-keys.
Thats so bad. How could such a mis-communication occur?
