Sowar have low HP, so Jans actually don't do a bad job vs em. If you fight in age2, Abus/Jan > India. If you fight in age3, Jan+Cannon > India...

2v2v2v2s were a lot of fun in starcraft, but I dont think the random map creator can handle more than 2 teams.

Nah India is pretty awesome now, they have a few problems, but IMO minor.
Flail elephant still sucks. The speed reduction and elimination of combat ability are jokes. TCs no longer get bonus vs cav, so flail's actually do what they're supposed to vs buildings, but the damage/speed reduction, made no sense.
Siege elephants are now even ...

Did you uninstall both your TAD and Vanilla? Although it technically shouldn't matter (because the files used by TAD and the files used by TWC are difference) but just to be safe you should uninstall both and clean up your AOE3 registry.
Are all of your games showing up as CRC Mismatch or just a few? There is a fan-patch going around right ...
