Are you looking in the right place? The gatherer UI is displayed on the left hand side of the resources. Once you have that box checked in your options it should display there.

I've taken a break from working for ES to further pursue my music career. (Im actually in studio right now hoping to release a new CD in May) I still play on ESO though when I have time, and I've been talking with the ES team about coming back and helping out still, but there are legal issues to work out. (Very long story) So we shall see. :)
