AOE has never been about fun! Always people doing anything to get the damn rating.
Most times i have to convince them I will resign if I'm about to win the game for them to play me, which i do resign. I LOVE the battle, the countering, the gameplay i love it. I dont care if i win or not, I used to care but being Colonel (rank 38) was far too ...

I've given up trying to fix my connection. I can only host 1v1's and it takes time for someone to join and no one plays because they care far too much about rank ugh

This should not be an option. If you can't complete the game then why do you deserve to lose no points?
You decided to play the game, If you win you get the points, if you lose, you lose your points. If you can't continue the game no more, then that's your fault and you should lose the points.
