• Re: Anyway to beat drop tricking?

There is no way to beat it other than to only play with people you know. The only way to ensure that other people do not get cheated is to spread the word. Take note of the date and time the drop trick occured, and also the gametime. Screenshots also help if you can show the drop tricker was out when the unresponsive screen appeared. In any case ...

  • Re: Best to worst Musketeers

the cold mudded burglarer:Brits are not that good in treaty The British are one of the most balanced civs in treaty. Just because you suck with them does not make them bad at treaty.. the cold mudded burglarer:1. There are far better musks than redcoats, including unction and sepoys etc. 2. It's hard to micro lb's together with musks or ...

  • Re: Field Arty Vrs Horse Cannon

Defense, Field Guns; Offense, Horse Guns. Heavy Canons are even better if your civ gets them.

  • Re: Treaty civ MUs

India v. Britain is a fair fight, with India having perhaps a small edge. India v. China should tip in favor of India. China always struggles against civs with heavy cav, which makes India as close to their non-OP nemesis as possible. Nothing like shredding CKNs with Mahouts knowing there is nothing really they can do about it when eles are ...

  • Re: Best Defensive Strategy

Artillery is usually the best defensive weapon type.. Especially when backed by the appropriate mix of units. The Ports are a good defensive civ, however, you should never intentionally play defense.. It wastes resources, and is far too risky if you opponent breaks into your base. Alternatively, you should be aggressive, push hard and fast, wait ...

  • Re: out of sync error... AGAIN!!

tomhakins:Well is there any upcoming patches or anything that is going to help towards fixing this problem and stopping hackers from doing it in the first place? No patch is going to fix individual players internet connection. Odds are if you experience the error on multiple occasions when not playing with the same people, your internet is shat. ...

  • Re: here are some drop trickers

wazupwiop:So all droptricking is, is just disconnecting from the internet quickly? That is really stupid. There are two cheats involved with it.. One is basic plug pulling, which is just where an internet cord/wireless card is pulled or disabled. It really has no impact whatsoever on the game, other than an annoyance for the other team. It ...

  • Re: How to counter OP civs

The only way to counter an OP civ is to mirror them. End of discussion.

  • Re: List of Treaty OP-ness

The OP civs in order? 1. France 2. France 3. Japan 4. Russia 5. China savorybeef:sorry but most things about treaty are set in stone already, and ports are just a average civ on the treaty scale. Yes, but they are also ridiculously easy to use.. Just without the lameness of OP civs.
