well considering the shipment takes 45 seconds to arrive, about 30 to gather and lots mroe to build you will having housing problems in early colonial. (when going cav/grens)

You only send 300 wood when your going to make cav almost exclusivly, otherwise doing the normal strategy will work much better. When going cav the british have only 1 flaw, expensive houses, so you really have to wait for that 700w shipment to get in before you can get houses up. But sending 300w you can have around 50/60 max pop in age 2, so ...

If your going cav, a nice alternative to sending 3 settlers is 300 wood, giving you 2 (sometimes 3) settlers, alot of xp, and most importantly, pop.
