    Horse artillery is faster, and better than falconet in any way, except that falconet has&nbsp;a greater&nbsp;hit points/cost(pop) ratio (but hit points are not that important for artillery). Use horse artillery any time when speed is important. If enemy does not have artillery, then musketeer type units are the best for defense of your artillery, ...

    Skirmisher type units are badly underpowered if you just leave them on the spot and hope they will win. But if you hit and run, they can kill a much expensive heavy infantry army.

    freak123:but the first attack was after i caught up with them! hussars had not been in combat and ran when they saw the outpost.i went off in the direction they where going, caught up, while they where running, and over took them. This only happens if you are a freak.
