fphhotchips:Just because something is different does not mean it is bad. I don't agree with the idea of leveling your home city (as was found in AOE3), but I think the MMO aspect of AOEO could redeem it somewhat. Try it before you denounce it.
Also, AOM was a classic game, much better than AOE3. Titans was... less so, but still ok. Again, ...

The fastest Otto can revolt on a normal map like great plains in 1v1 is about 10 minutes. I can't imagine they can revolt any faster than about 8-9 even with a sling.

Yes, I'm looking forward to not paying a dime for this project. I hope others will follow, and that AOEO will be fun for those who play it, but will ultimately be an epic failure for the company, and that they will be forced to make a Man's RTS.
