Well halbs with Ransack can burn down a base faster than Oprichniks and are pretty much gg if you can get a fort in the enemy's base

A Caravel has 75 attack, a Frigate has 90. The Caravel costs 300W + 100C (400) and the Frigate, 500W&C (1000). Positive BR have 1.5 RoF, with a 1 second aiming, just like Longbowemen. Also i wouldn't use LC against Artillery, as most have 75% RR, thus making RR's 78 damage into only 19.5 (11 shots for a Falconet). If there are only 2 canon, just shoot with anything and it'll die, if there's more, then bring Axes or call for ally Culverins...

So he means: know your stuff, try to follow the logistics and when ingame, your skill will decide if you win or your opponent does...
Just to bring it up, i tihnk it's TEAM Musketeer/Grenadier damage.. So in team games, i usually send that before the Hitpoints, although it's stupid to double Musketeer, but it's always better to send team ...

Well compared to Pikemen they are really bad agaisnt cavalry, but they're very easy to mass, cost nothing and so fast to train (especially with both cards). So i think it's fair to say that a couple of batches of musks and strelets mixed together is stronger than lbs and pikes... same cost

I don't play Japan, but i saw a couple of my friends play, and when they get an extra wood crate, they build Consulate + porto, then build the shrine. Also the Wonder is on discount so they gain 20secs upon aging. Quite nice if you want to get in an extra shipment or build a tower.

If you want a fast FF, age-up with the Taj Mahal and ship in the gold to age-up at around 6:00 with 4 vills on Agra. Or if you have extra wood, build a consulate and get the french research for 500 coin, saving a shipment for the big trickle or for fortress units...

Just a little suggestion:
Instead of hunting 1200 food, transforming it into 1.5K wood, with the 400 age-up wood for a total of 1900 Wood,
=> Age-up with 500 Food, while collecting your usual 1200. Thus, when the card arrives, ou will get 2125 Wood instead of 1.9K.
Useless to say that 225 wood can be incredibly useful: ...

Why not just burn down all those damn shrines that are all over the map? Scout the whole map and take a vill, try to hunt animals, if there's a cross over the food symbol, then that means there's a shrine there. Send a few musketeers and house the lamer...
Also if you can disable both monks, you prevent him from placing shrines everyhwere ...
