  • Re: ~ indian rush strat ~

It sounds a lot like the 10/10 rush of india. Which is why people claim india to be overpowered.

  • Re: fighting after 40 russians

Depends on the map you're on! If it's a map with a chokepoint russia might indeed be a bad choice. But on most maps russia can work on france just fine. All you need to do is play the counter strategy and avoid the enemy army with a small portion of your army consisting of oprichnicks to mess up his ecop by backdooring into his eco and mostly the ...

  • Re: fighting after 40 russians

Hmmm, i'd mostly use horse artillery if you're in stalemate where you're fighting near a same spot for a long time cause you need a foundry to make them and muskets can't make those, as long as you're on the move often use infantry/cavalry and build a fort every screen destroying the eldest one once you got 3 up. As for unit upgrades, use the ...

  • Re: New nation:)

Arrow knight only piss people off cause a standard anti aztec army is 8 cannons with 60 skirmishers. The arrow knight are the only ones that can truely counter the cannons. Sure jaguars will own them quickly with stealth, but then the jaguars are dead meat to skirms. Other then that arrow knight aren't that much of a bother due to their crappy ...

  • Re: civ choise...

Cassadores/skirms/arques are not musketeers like this guy is asking. British/ports are the only 2 civs with royal guard musketeers, so it's 1 of these 2 if you want an euro civ with strong musketeers. British also got strong royal guard hand cav and longbowmen which are the best RI in the game imo. Ports got a strong army setup but as someone ...

  • Re: Otto guide - AgeSanc.

I'd also go for 1000 wood, cause it's still 400 wood extra, if you make your explorer build the TC or you send a wagon, the speed won't be much different, biggest difference is that your explorer will be where you want your TC BEFORE the card is sent, while the wagon will need to get there and risk being shot. 3 settlers collect the 1000 wood VERY ...

  • Re: treaty 40 russian score

I don't use russians often in treaty since they're my main rush civ. But for treaty i'd suggest: wood trickle then medicine (faster villager training) then sevastopol when you hit age 3 go for food and coin production boost. In age 4 the 2 factories, after that it's slowly getting the eco cards and the advanced arsenal and church and after those ...

  • Re: Sioux home city card [Mustangs]

20% off cost + HP increase would make the card op'd imo. 20% off is pushing it too. 15% i could agree to.

  • Re: Newb here

In higher ranks you'll find plenty of games with no JAP, only cause they can easily ''FB'' with their diamyos and shogun.

  • Re: Newb here

If you use an OP civ a lot it doesnt necessarily mean you're a lamer imo and it definately doesn't mean that you can't play normal civs good as well. I play Japan a lot on treaty but i can handle ports/spanish very well too, only with native civs i can't compete well, but then again everyone struggles with natives. Sure, using japan is easy mode ...
