no, i dont think so- i think its so that people dont do like 40 min treaties against comp, gain loads of XP, save when the enemy is literally about to resign/die and then keep loading it at that point to get HCs on single player up lvls super fast...
i could be wrong, but that seems to be the most likely explanation to me

I got bored out of my mind on a 30 min treaty, let alone 40 or 55. you hit age 5 by about 20 mins maximum anyway- whats really the point?
besides it takes a lot of the fun out of the game (regarding rush). I normally win on the rush, I dont particularly like going past age 4- I only know ill probs lose as my late game isnt fantastic.

the difficulty of the AI may just be the demo- I seem to remember TWC demo in particular expert being fairly easy, and the actual game AI being significantly harder

i managed to fend off a 4:30 iro rush as french, with just courrers, whilst my hussar shipment went around back and killed his vills, and my vills on food, who were miles away built rax and spammed muskets. he quit when he saw my muskets coming to kill what was left of his rush.

that is a seriously good game. not that im actually any good at it. cant get the hang of it properly- probably come with practise.

I would still go with french- ive only ever used curraisers (properly) once in a game and that was on 20 minute treaty.
mostly I win with 50 inf, 2-4 cannon and a few hussars (just for cleaning up stray vills+any enemy cannon) when I age up to fortress at around 12-15 mins (thats a very rough guess, ive never really checked. It could ...

''I like to rush''- im not saying french have an amazing rush, but check out the 17 hussar in 7 mins tactic, and try and work off that- if used correctly to knock the oponents eco off balance, then it sets you up for the rest of the game.

right, because I didnt really understand much of blackdead2's description of a point trader-
what actually is one?? How on earth is it possible to cheat on AoE3? Im not brilliant with computers, but surely its virtually impossible to cheat? Is it just some way you bypass the cheats allowed box on the hosting screen thing?
