If you want techs or units from the consulate, use it, if you don't want, don't use.

It might be a problem with your graphics driver.
While your video processor is integrated to the motherboard, so it's not officially supported, it's powerful enough to run the game with the right driver.
There is quite some time I don't upgrade a driver for an Intel GPU (and I've never done that in Vista), so I can't guide you very well with it, ...

In the game browser you can just click the ''Game mode'' line, or something like that, that is right above the place it shows if it's treaty or sup.
This way it'll sort all games by mode, so treaty and sup will be separated.

At first there were no plans for The Asian Dynasties, just for The War Chiefs.
The X in TWC stands for ''eXpansion''.
They used Y in TAD just because it comes right after X, not because it's supposed to be a Z.

It's fair, and indeed very fun.
I remember many times having fights where it was just my explorer vs his explorer trying to get a treasure, really fun to do.
