Months ago I joined a 1v1 rated treaty game against some guy playing India (I was Japan), and I figured it would be a cakewalk. 19 minutes into the game, I get the ''treaty ends in one minute'' warning, and I was like ''what the hell?'' because I had assumed it was a 40 minute treaty (who plays 20 minute treaties, honestly?) Needless ...

I played as Japan in a 1v1 against a French guy a while back... he was spamming cuiraseurs right at my hatamotos. I laughed so hard... his horses outnumbered my hats by probably 4 to 1 but it was a bloodbath. He resigned after his precious cavalry had been cut to shreds.

Such a large drop in PR was probably because one of the opponents was a conscript or something, ur PR loss is increased as the opponent's PR is decreased.
There was no one in the game below sergeant, if I remember correctly, and I am a master sergeant. I don't play anyone below corporal unless it's an unrated game.

Or just google around a bit for a no-cd crack, I'm sure there's one out there somewhere. I personally don't think there's anything unethical about using a no-cd crack on a game that you actually own, though I'm sure there's someone out there who'll disagree with me on that one.

Yeah, there's a 2 or 3 minute minimum game time in case someone lags out while loading the level. You'll get a message saying ''this game is not rated'' if everyone quits before the 2 or 3 minute (can't remember) mark. Those games have no effect on your score at all.

I had that happen when I set up my new Vista machine... turns out I had to disable mouse trails in my windows settings before I could see the mouse pointer in AoE. Oddly, AoE was the only game that had that problem.
