Yeah, Japs are hard to rush. Those stupid cherry orchards keep them close to there tc. Try a FF next time against japs, maybe that will help. Sry I kind of got off topic. My favorite civs to rush with would be China, and Sioux (now a little UP). Boxer Rebellion rush for China works well on Master Sergeants and below if that is your rank, above ...

asiel_black:try doing a fast fortress against japs is the easiest way you can win.... send the skimishers 1st banner army is always usefull against japs. other wise if you try to fight in age 2 he will outboom you.
